Who processes your data

What we collect
Messages you type in the chat are sent to Anthropic (the AI model provider) to generate the reply. In trial mode (no account) your conversation is stored only in your browser and disappears when you close the tab. If you sign in, we store your email and the conversations tied to your account. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email and message. We also log your IP temporarily to prevent abuse (rate limiting).
What we use it for
Generating chat replies, saving your history if you have an account, responding to your contact messages, and protecting the service from abusive use.
Legal basis
Your consent when using the chat, creating an account, or submitting the contact form, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure (rate limiting).
How long we keep it
In trial mode, until you close the browser. With an account, until you delete a conversation or your account. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond to them. The abuse-prevention IP is discarded after the rate-limit window passes.
Statistics and errors (only if you accept them)
If you accept the “Statistics and errors” category in the banner, we load two tools: Umami, an analytics we host ourselves, cookieless and without profiling you (which pages get viewed, where the visit came from, device type), and Sentry, which tells us about JavaScript errors along with the page address, the browser and the stack trace (servers in Germany). If you decline, neither is loaded and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind any time from the “Cookies” link in the footer.
Who else processes your data
Each provider acts as a data processor and only within its own patch: Anthropic generates the chat replies; Cloudflare hosts and serves the site and protects it from attacks; Supabase stores accounts and conversations (servers in Europe); Upstash keeps the per-IP rate-limit counter, when configured; Resend sends the contact form email; Backblaze stores the backups; Sentry receives the errors (servers in Germany); and Umami, the analytics, we host ourselves. We don't sell your data or hand it to ad networks.
Transfers outside the European Union
Anthropic PBC, the provider of the model that writes the replies, is a US company: what you type in the chat leaves the European Union. Cloudflare and Backblaze are US companies too. Those transfers rely on each provider's data processing agreement, which incorporates the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Anthropic's privacy terms are at anthropic.com. If that doesn't work for you, don't use the chat: the rest of the site reads fine without typing anything.
Share links are public
The share button builds an address like trolasgpt.com/en/share/… that carries the question and the answer encoded inside it: they aren't stored in any database, they travel in the URL itself. Anyone holding that link can read the exchange, and pasting it into a social network or a messaging app generates a preview with the question and part of the answer. Those pages are excluded from search engines in robots.txt, but that doesn't make them private: only share what you don't mind being read. Since nothing is stored on the server, to stop sharing it just stop spreading the link.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to trolasgpt.com@trolasgpt.com. If you have an account, you can delete any conversation yourself from the chat. And if you think we're getting it wrong, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
